IDEA

The objective of our project was to showcase how Synthesia, an innovative AI tool, is changing the way large organisations train their people and communicate with their customers. Our focus was on illustrating the practical impact of Synthesia inside a complex operation, using Ryanair - Europe's largest airline group, carrying over 200 million passengers a year - as a prime example. The goal was to create a clear narrative that showed how Synthesia turns a process that once required flying instructors across Europe into training and passenger updates that can be produced in minutes, in every European language.

CHALLENGE

The production faced a significant logistical challenge: we were granted access to film inside Ryanair's Dublin headquarters and training center, but within a tight one-day window and around a live, continuously running operation. Every minute had to be planned in advance - from equipment setup to capturing interviews, training sessions, and operational footage- while working around crew schedules, briefings, and turnarounds, and adhering to the airline's security and access guidelines. Filming in an active aviation environment meant the plan had to stay flexible without losing a single essential shot.

PERFORMANCE

The video combines interviews, live-action footage from training and operations, and examples of Synthesia-generated content, providing a clear and engaging illustration of how the technology has improved Ryanair's training and passenger communication - video production up to 90% faster, six-figure savings reinvested into training, and standardised procedures delivered in 20 languages. The video has been well received, serving not only as a testament to the benefits of Synthesia but also as a reference point for other large organisations considering a similar shift in how they train and communicate.
